countdown to decisions

87 hours 16 minutes ;)

people say i'm too hardcore... i'm just deceitfully enthusiastic and proficient in subtraction

Good luck everyone :)

3 days left...sigh...

man.. i'm a deferred ed. and i've not heard from penn for a loooong time. i've sent in all my final scores of 43 points for the ibdp and an extra essay. hoped that helped..

I sure hope Penn's server can handle the 1000s of students that want their decision at 5:00 P.M SHARP!

Duke was SO slow.

46 hours and 11 minutes
or roughly 2 days

about 1.99298 days left!!

^^ yea...duke was slow indeed.

didn't get mine until prob 45 minutes after.

expecting the same for penn...and every other ivy -_-

duke was slow because acceptees get that flash video, and thousands were playing at once. the Ivys are just text so theyre usually pretty fast. However, i don't know if CC servers can handle the furiously combined force of hopefuls for 8 ivys..

^ ahhah..so true XD

less than 48hrs now...

44 hours 6 minutes!

Good Luck To Everyone! !!

It's official.. this is really tomorrow!!

I've been toying with the idea of not checking online though... something about expecting the decision seems like it would make it far more harsh than if "the big letter" simply did not come. who am i kidding... i'm probably gonna start refreshing a good hour before decisions are released.

This kind of stuff makes me really happy that I didn't even know when decision day was.

Just relax. It's all really anticlimactic, trust me. But if any of you guys are too excited or can't sleep and wanna chat or something, hit me up on AIM.

I had a dream about getting accepted to Penn last night and then.. I couldn't find the website saying that I got accepted again.. Then I went to the website and signed on, to find out I got accepted to Brown instead of Penn (when I didn't even apply to Brown).

Very strange.

Anyway. That just shows how anxious I am, I guess.. esp after I got waitlisted from Stanford :</p>

ahahha i had a dream and one of the admissions officer came to my house saying that my interview wasn't completed and that i needed to do it again. then she secretly handed me a piece of paper saying that i will be guaranteed admission once i redo my interview. except on the piece of paper, my name was spelled wrong.

then i woke up and was like damnit!!!

haha

I can't believe it's actually tomorrow...the app, interview, essays, supplements...months of waiting in fear and worries.

I've only had two college dreams.

One was for Penn:
I got accepted to Penn and went there, but for some reason I only had $6.00 for the entire first semester, so I bought one of those Segway electric scooters and a pastry and then I was out of cash. Assuming a pastry costs about $3, I must have found a $3 Segway, which is quite a deal...Haha.
Maybe my dream is about financial aid angst.

The other one was for Harvard. Nothing peculiar, just that I got accepted. Weird because Harvard isn't even my #1 or #2 choice.
