I’m just so anxious to be done with the SAT I before junior year…

I’m a rising senior (high school class of 2011). I skipped a grade back in elementary school.

So I just found out about this “Trololo” meme recently – my friend sent me a link to it, and I actually think the guy in it has a nice singing voice. The song’s really addicting too… I guess this is what I’ll be listening to while I await June 24th Go to trololololololololololo.com (the URL makes me chuckle for some reason) to see it!

nice, i’m a rising senior too… ^ omg really?? that video was like the center of entertainment for our french class this year, it’s absolutely hilarious!!

btw fledgling, r you planning on staying up to see the scores? I did last time, and where I live, they came out at 4 am

I don’t need to stay up. On June 24th, I will be in Singapore, which is 12 hours ahead of EST. So it will be 5 PM over there. :)

Aha, that’s almost cheating

^ Lol Is it? I’m just there visiting my parents and younger sister before moving to CA with her this coming fall.

More interested in my ACT score than my SAT score. Don’t even think I’m sending my SAT scores.

^Same, unless of course I somehow get a good score haha.

Yeah. My projected 35 ACT will look way better than my anticipated 2200.

I just need a 27+ lol
I feel so stupid compared to the vast majority of the kids here.

Don’t feel stupid. About 8 months ago, when I got a 168 on my PSAT, I never thought that I would be able to succeed at standardized tests. Just stay dedicated and focused and you will enjoy success.

I did stand by testing so my scores won’t be submitted online :…(
I have to wait double the time now it’s killin meeeeeee

^that sucks cammms

I’m really praying for generous curves this time. I need an 800 CR to balance out my ~650 math score…sigh…

Do the curves really change from test to test?

I thought that every time the tests would follow the same raw score to scaled score conversion, like the way they have it in the official prep books.

alright got my 35 ACT, looking to beat it on this SAT…

@sic_infit:

the curve is pre-determined based off the difficulty of the test. Really hard tests have generous curves, really easy tests have harsh curves. That’s why alot of prep books give you a score range instead of an exact score. You can use this link though to get an average score for a particular raw score:

So yeah, the curve does change from test to test.

already* …

has anyone sent their four free score reports to colleges? I’m trying to use them on colleges that only look at your best scores (like Princeton) but I can’t find any (besides Princeton). That way even if they are bad it wouldn’t hurt.
