@RM that depends on what you wanna major in. If youre into pre-med or anything biology related they might wonder why you choose physics over anatomy.

To answer the questions about the schedules:

Junior Year:
AP English Language
AP Chemistry
AP Latin: Virgil
AP Calc AB
AP Physics C
Varsity Tennis
Adv Tech Theater

I am actually really scared about Junior year, it looks really difficult.

@MechEM: A college advisor told me taking Physics in high school versus Anatomy for pre-med would be better since college professors expect you to have a basic knowledge of physics before taking physics in college

For me:

AP Stats (already took BC Calc)
AP Chem
AP Lit
AP Computer Science
AP Comparative Government
Weightlifting

@Rm that’s totally true. It all depends on whatever colleges you’re applying to. Try finding out what they’d rather see on a senior schedule. Is taking both an option?

So what did you guys score on the ACT?

@Mech: No it is not. And dual-enrolling is not allowed either.
@Ufiscool: Only a 27 so far. :/

I haven’t taken the ACT yet…i probably should have taken it earlier but i will take it in October. I’m really only taking it to make my counselor and parents happy.

ugh i tried to go to sleep but my heart kept pounding too fast because i’m so nervous…

are all of you staying up till 5 to get your scores?

I’ve only got a 29 so far.

32 Math
30 English
24 Reading
31 Science

I took it in June and am getting my scores next week.

I’m expecting:

33 Math
33 English
27 Reading
32 Science

31 Composite

I’m hoping for:

34 Math
35 English
28 Reading
33 Science

33 composite

I’m going to stay up! I get my score at 2 so it’s not too bad especially because it’s the summer and i’ve been staying up late!

I can do nothing now. really wanna read book for next week exam but can’t do it now

So how do you guys feel the curve will be? I thought the math was a bit on the easy side and the reading was a bit harder then usual, but maybe thats just me…writing seemed about normal.

I got a 33 the first time I took it and a 33 the second time I took it. I didn’t want to take it the second time but it was state mandated. My science score was higher the second time I took it but every other score was exactly the same as the first time. So basically it was a waste of 3 hours (as if it wasn’t already).

Math will probably be: 780, 760, 730, 710, 690
Writing will probably be: 790, 770, 740, 720, 700
Reading will probably be: 800, 780, 760, 730, 710

But it doesn’t matter now. We must simply wait.

I agree with Viel!

what do you guys think about the curves?

Also, if you guys check your scores from previous SAT test, and actually found the raw score and corresponding to its scaled score, did you find that your calculated scaled score was lower than what was showed on College board?

I’m nervous as HECK because I didn’t get to practice enough for this

i honestly don’t know why everyone thinks CR reading was hard this time? it seemed normal to me.
