Countdown to the January 2010 SAT scores!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can’t you just change your Collegeboard password in that case?

I personally wouldn’t retake the SAT if I got 2340+. At that point, its a matter of one or two questions. (I’m thinking I’m going to get 770/780/800 as long as I didn’t make careless errors so hopefully this will be my last SAT /fingers crossed.)

27 hours, 55 minutes…

do the SAT subject test scores come out at the same time? and btw, its on thursday 8 am eastern time right?

Always the annoying careless errors… if I made no careless errors I would get 800/800/800… hoping for that…

Uff I have to wait till 6PM over here!! ArgghH! Altho I am getting it at the same time as you guys, it feels a LOT longer.

I am losing patience here.
Good distraction though, silverturtle.
I would be happy with a 2300+; after that I’ve heard that the score does not make too of a difference in one’s admission for top tier universities (or is it 2250+?)

Once again, February 11

the SAT scores are officially supposed to come out at 8AM EST

but they DO come out at 5AM EST. Always have. Always will

“the SAT scores are officially supposed to come out at 8AM EST
but they DO come out at 5AM EST.”

hmm I wonder why that is.

So… nervous… I don’t know how concentrated I will be today.
What about for international students? Is 2250+ safe?

what I heard was
the time was originally 5AM EST like a year ago or so
then collegeboard changed it to 8AM. but the results still come out at 5 even now

I’ll be happy with a 2350+ superscore.

But that will only matter for about half of the colleges I applied to, the rest won’t take any more scores. They have my 2270.

Won’t be retaking either way.

First time taking it as a junior… 2000 would be nice (I need to start somewhere.) I also live in TX so getting THEA-exempt would be great and I’m pretty sure I have that (1070 CR and Math with at least a 500 in each.)

Since I am a junior I’d probably re-take this no matter what score I get.

And after all that… expected score=1700-1800’s >.<

silverturtle, you’re getting at least an 11 essay and probably a 2400 :)

Ugh, I’ll probably retake it… unless I get, like, 2390. Idk though, the only section I KNOW I didn’t get 800 on is math. But I’m a sophomore, so I guess not retaking would be lazy of me. Plus math is supposed to be the easiest section to get 800 on.

im so nervous, its killing me! im a junior and this was my first time
oh god, i hope it went well!
!!!

:(

silver turtle
how many times have u given the SAT?

I don’t understand why there are some people who get 2300+ and still want to retake.

its because theyre so arrogant yet insecure that they need to tell us how well they do and cant put it any other way

Because they want to get a perfect score.

Disclaimer: I am not one of these people.

DO SAT subject scores come out at the same time? pls rEPLY!

“I don’t understand why there are some people who get 2300+ and still want to retake.”

It’s really a matter of personal choice. I would assume that some people, upon seeing their scores, would instinctively know that this score is either an accurate representation of their skill or isn’t. I know of one person who retook the SAT after a 2380.

Speaking of retaking, did CB purposely make the registration deadline for the March SAT one day before we get our scores for the January SAT? I’ve waited until today to register for the March SAT in the hopes that they would have pushed back the deadline by now like they did for January.

I’m pretty sure they do.
