my french exchange student got really freaked out after that movie!

i want to see narnia!!!!

I want to see the 4th Harry Potter movie on my birthday.

lol what was freaky about it?
yay Harry Potter! I totally cried at the end...lol

harry potter is starting to feel a bit draggy now. i only read the 6th book once - it was rather soggy, imo.

i also didn't like the girl they picked for cho.

however, i believe snape will be good in the end.

yeah she wasn't quite as...pretty as I thought Cho was supposed to be. but oh well.
I also think Snape is totally not evil...!

when you mention cho, i keep thinking of that guy on this board who uses the name chochocho

chochocho reminds me of final fantasy's chocobos.

all my asian friends are like, "OOOOOMG I hate her - I'm so totally prettier!!!"
... the vanity of girls.

Hmm. Typical Asian girls. :p

but the books portrayed asian girls as, in harry's words, human hosepipes :(.
I predicted that dumbledore was going to die in book 6, and i bet my eraser collection that snape will be redeemed in book 7.

I have an eraser collection too! specifically Japanese erasers. they're too cute ^^ so anyway Snape has to be good...I wonder how Harry is gonna get past all the dark magic. tee

my eraser collection was from singapore and taiwan ^,^ (and I still use the pink keroppi ruler I got in first grade today in calc lol) - american stationary are so boring.

lol yeah I know. not to mention the erasers usually don't work!

what is a human housepipe?
and I do think cho is cute... I could see why Harry would fall for her (though I would've totally been better, lol)

harry described cho as a hosepipe because she cries so often.

^ hehe. I'm too tall for cho, and personally I find having to kiss daniel radcliffe in the next movie quite disgusting.

haha yeah. I hope they sorta cut it out like in the book. the image can get fuzzy and dark and zoom to the next scene ^^

i hated the 4th movie, it was too fast, and there were too many lame jokes/scenes stuck in there for the sole purpose of being funny, instead of adding to the story line.

plus the special effects sucked ... trust me i'm an animator and they sucked... mostly bad directing tho (not the quality of the work itself)

So which Harry Potter movie do you guys like the best?

lord of the rings

<i didn't="" like="" any="" of="" the="" hp="" movies="" 3="" i've="" watched,="" though="" i'll="" say="" was="" best="" out="" all="" them="">
<i didn't="" like="" any="" of="" the="" hp="" movies="" 3="" i've="" watched,="" though="" i'll="" say="" was="" best="" out="" all="" them="">

I really liked the first one (I havent seen 3rd or 4th yet) because it was kind of cool too see everything I read in the book being duplicated on film, and I was kind of curious as to what kind of special effects they would use.

I liked 3 and 4. The only thing is Hermione had like twice as many lines as Harry...could you guys (directors/writers) stop that?! we know you all love "girl power" but Harry happens to be the main character, and he's not a girl, OK!
lol just had to get that off my chest.
2 was only good because Draco looked good.
None of them really live up to the books, but hey what movie based off a book does?
I liked LOTR even though I never finished the books...I want limbus bread...I swear the description in the book sounds yummy...
