me tooo.Good luck to everyone

Hey~!!! I am an international too!!!! urrrrrrrrrggggggggghhhh I hate waiting too. Good luck everyone, you amazing people!!!!!

Aww, of all the Ivy League sub-forums, I feel like the people on the Yale forum are the nicest. I hope you all get in come March 31st! 19 days!

(I have a countdown on my iGoogle, and I changed the theme to something more collegiate, haha)

lol VFrizz I did the exact same thing.

(I have a Google countdown too...)

I like the waiting. Because for those few weeks when someone asks you "what do you do?" you can reply "I'm a Yale applicant." Gets me all tingly. I'll probably be having orgasms if I get to say "I'm a yale student". :D

Try not to think of it as waiting. You know when they will release the "results." So you actually are not waiting, just passing the time until that day arrives. Waiting is what I do every morning when I need to leave at 6:45am and the kids are not ready to go until 7. Waiting is when you show up at your doctor's appointment at 2pm and he/she keeps you waiting in the waiting room for 45 minutes. Therefore, we are not really waiting, just annoyed that the clock doesn't go faster. Never wish away time, you'll never get it back.

Have fun, enjoy. Time will pass, as it always does and when the day comes, it will be here. Good luck to all.

18 days

Is five o'clock the exact time our fates will be posted?

Last night I dreamt that I received all my other decisions online but the Yale page just refused to load. Then a little line about how my app was terrible appeared on the screen. ):

Oh well, at least I woke up. Good luck people!

And um, I'm not sure about the 5pm thing. I guess it's pretty flexible, might come out a couple of minutes earlier?

I think I received my EA decision at around 4:15 (EST). You can probably expect religious clicking of the refresh button to bear fruit starting at 4:00.

I love this countdown. It's only 18 days. 18 days until we find out what we might have waited for and what me might have prepared for for all our lives.
I already started making a Yale mix cd with the music I will listen to when getting my online decision... when I get in everything will change for me.

but if you dont... then everything will change for you as well (e.i. you are screwed). "Yale mix cd"... dont make me laugh..

I feel like I am so not getting in....hope they reallllllly love QB applicants

ah, another QB applicant! was Yale your first choice on the QB app.? whatever QB does to the application, it can do nothing but help. keep a positive outlook!

laugh if you want. aren't you doing anything special for that day?

don't count on decisions being out exactly on time. I don't know about Yale, but my Stanford EA decision came a good 3 hours late.

pommery, it's not usually like that, I applied to Stanford EA too! Yale was right on time for that, I know forsure, so hopefully it won't be too far away from the time.

AHH!

Im from the west, so i guess ill receive my decision around 2 PM...

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah

yea..that about it
