Just wondering if there's a course catalog with the day's and times for the classes available for Vanderbilt. I know other colleges that have it available like Hopkins and UVA.

If you’re looking “great” classes with “legendary” professors to visit, I would recommend two:

1) Intro to Ethics - John Lachs - Meets MW in Wilson 103 Spring 2010
2) Introductory Microeconomics - Stephen Buckles - MWF in Wilson 103 Spring 2010

I also might check with the professor to make sure there isn’t a test or something when you want to drop in. (i.e. email him)

S loved Buckles’ micro class. Dr. Geer is wonderful for political science, but I think I read in The Hustler that he is on sabbatical next year to serve as a visiting professor for an Ivy (S wrote for The Hustler early on and since he is back at Vandy for professional school, I still read the paper online). S also loved the History of WWII class and the Constitution Law class out of the PS dept. D was an art history and their department is very good, but the most popular professor seems to be Dr. Folgarait.

Thank you for the information. I’m looking to major in something along the lines of political science with pre-med. Not exactly sure so I wanted to see which classes were available though I’m not sure when I’ll be visiting. But again, thank you for the information as well as the link :).
