Hey guys,

I am an EECS major who is interested in studying purely computer hardware. Other than the basic required EECS courses, what are some upper-division courses from EECS, Physics and Math that I need to take???

Thanks!

CS 150, 152, 250, 252, 258 are the computer hardware courses.

CS 162 and probably 164 are courses whose concepts should be very useful to computer hardware designers. CS 184 may be of interest if you want to design graphics chips for gamers. CS 170 a good idea for anyone in CS.

EE/CS C149 and the EE 140-series and 240-series courses may also be of interest.
