^You could do “Spanish for TRUE BEGINNERS” hehe. I assume that’s in English?

I’m not a true beginner though I just suck at foreign languages.

i have a quick question
as i read through the course registration book, to fulfill the international culture thing you must take 3 course and 1 of them have to be a language course…is this true???

Which school? There are different requirements by school. For CAS, read the AXLE requirements info on the CAS website. You can get credit for the language requirement in CAS … see the website for details.

i mean in CAS

For the AXLE INT, you need 3 credits.

For the foreign language part…
‘All students have to demonstrate proficiency in a foreign language at a basic level. Basic level = 1 year of study at the university level. One year at university level = completion of or proficiency in second semester of foreign language instruction by some means: AP credit; SAT II; VU departmental test; or appropriate Vanderbilt course.’
[Vanderbilt University: College of Arts and Science: Academics: AXLE](http://www.vanderbilt.edu/cas/academics/axle/placement.php)

Be careful with the language credits. Some intro courses will not fulfill it. For example, Latin 101 doesn’t count, but Latin 102 does.
