Course Requirements...???

I am attempting to graduate from HS a year early (end of 11th grade)

As a result I have only 3.5 years of Enlish ( .5 a semester at a community college) and the REQUIREMENT not RECCOMENDED courses must be 4 years at LSA.

This doesn't automatically disqualify me does it.

I listed my fields of interests as chem. and bio. and my math and science subjects collectively cover 10 years (3 at Michigan State :))

I am a strong candidate, but I dont want a technicality to keep me out.

In the context of early graduation is this OK? Or should i be calling MSU back up and asking for a writing course this spring that would put me at 4 years?

No, it doesn't disqualify you at all. I had a deficiency in my foreign language requirement when I was accepted as a transfer to LSA. Shortly after my acceptance, I received a letter that said I should complete the foreign language requirement as soon as possible. This is probably what will happen to you if you get in. So, if you are a strong applicant and you have one deficiency like this, I wouldn't worry. You can always call them to make absolutely certain.
