AGH I'm really starting to regret not taking more AP classes in high school. I know I could've done it but I didn't want to kill my happiness by stressing myself out.
Is this rigorous enough for ED?

I got A's in all classes, and in 1st quarter of senior year. Yet I think this class list is whats gonna bring me that rejection letter despite good ECs and rec letters and paper :(

Does your school offer lots of AP classes that Sophs and Juniors take? What is your rank?

Agree with Ravnzcroft though not to worry too much about it. The good thing re rigor is you are taking Calc B/C and AP Physics (hopefully C) and even better that you received A’s in them this quarter (send the grades to WUSTL whether they ask for them or not). These two HS classes are leading markers of a rigorous curriculum at many colleges (putting aside the multi-variable and linear alg kids, who are still a bit outside the norm even at a great school like WUSTL).

I think your course load is fine. Sure, it could be better, but your course load for senior year makes it clear you aren’t a slacker- if you were just taking APES as your science, admissions might not be too happy, but the fact that you’re taking AP Physics in addition to that is impressive. Not that I know anything, but I think that straight A’s all four years are impressive regardless of how many AP classes you are or are not taking.

Unfortunately yes, both world history and US history are offered AP at my school, and many kids take them. AP Gov is also offered in place of regular civics. Theres 3 that I should’ve/could’ve taken instead of the regular versions. The reason I didn’t, though, was because I have 0 interest in history (interested in bio major/premed) and at that point in life I didn’t realize what it took to get into a top school (just assumed I was smart enough and they’d know that). I hope they are forgiving in that I challeneged myself in my areas of interest. Downside: another girl from my school is applying ED and of course she took all AP history courses and is an extra year ahead of me in math.

My school only offers 6 class hours a day. I wanted to stay with music so that’s taken an academic class period away every year, and health/gym are required to graduate so I had to take those as well. I wanted to take AP chem instead but my school wouldn’t let me; plus, it starts during 0 hour which is at 6:30 which wasn’t fun for me last year with AP bio.
