Yes, typical. Go to google and search VT professor ratings. This should lead you to a good site for information on professors and classes. Keep in mind that at VT you “request” your classes and time, then at a later date, they provide you your schedule. You may or may not get the professor you requested, but almost always will get your required Major classes.
