Hey! I’m going into my junior year and really struggling between two courses. My schedule right now is looking like:
- AP Gov
- AP Lang
- Dual Enrollment Calc
- Physics
- Chinese IV
- Art IV
- AP Psych
- ?
I’m deciding between taking a study hall and taking Dual Enrollment Photography for my 8th class, but I’m already taking an art class. Basically do colleges care if you take two art classes but are not planning on going into the arts/applying for art school?
Also, a Dual Enrollment is on a 5 pt. GPA scale and it’d give me a GPA boost but I’d get extra time in study hall to do other stuff. So it’s basically just down to if colleges would expect me to apply to an arts school or something or really care at all. If it doesn’t matter, I’d take Photo.
Sorry this is kind of a dumb question, but any input helps!
