COVID-19 -> Bio E or M subject test?

Hey, I’m currently taking AP Biology but my school was closed at the beginning of March because of coronavirus. Due to the closure, we haven’t been able to cover ecology or evolution. I was wondering if I should take Biology M over E as a result.

Apparently, ecology and evolution won’t be on the AP test, so I wasn’t planning on studying it until after the test. However, I’m also planning to take the June 6 SAT subject test, which is only a couple weeks after the AP Bio test. Since I would rather just focus on studying mostly the same materials, I was thinking about taking M.

The only thing is I’ve heard and read that the Bio E subject test is easier than M… that there’s less analysis and more memorization.

Also, if I do end up choosing M, do any of you know how in depth I will need to study ecology and evolution? Like, is there a lot of analysis on the topic or can I just memorize the basic facts?

Thank you so much!
