Cplt 110, eng 101, eng 181

Between CPLT 110, ENG 101, ENG 181 which one would you recommend for the best experience and which professors?

I'm not much of a reader but I've been reading a lot lately and I would like to get into it! I'm not much of a writer either but I do have fun with it. Which would be best?

Thanks!

Seems 110 or 181 is good for you. However, I’d honestly just choose by the themes available. For example, I took a 181 on TransAtlantic Romanticism (I may be a double science major, but I like history/political science so this topic hit the spot for me). Others on my hall frosh year took a 101 that was about male friendship or something. Just choose a prof. that has a topic that sounds interesting to you. English 101 (when click on the course in opus) shows the topics at the bottom of the enrollment data.

Course atlas has useful insight on topics of Eng 101: <a href=“Welcome to Emory College.”>Welcome to Emory College.;

topics for Eng 181 are only disclosed for those where the instructor is revealed.

thank you Bernie!

While looking through the link, quite a few of the courses do not include descriptions. Where can I find out what their theme is?

You just won’t until later. Simply don’t choose them unless they reveal before orientation. Limit your pool to ones w/descriptions.
