Hi! Short and simple: my math went from a 720 to a 780 while my CR went from a 670 to a 660. I really needed to improve my CR score but instead I decreased it... How will this impact me in college admissions? My total score from this past test was 2160 (60 more than my last test) and my superscore is 2170. I'm really scared because I will be applying to many liberal arts schools. Wellesley is my #1 choice and if I dont go there I might just die.

…Anyone?

Are any of the colleges you’re looking at going to superscore?

10 points higher or lower doesn’t make much of a difference. That can easily fluctuate between tests for all people. Most colleges will just be happy that you scored much higher on math.

Agreed. A CR drop of ten points is essentially the same score, and colleges recognize that. (I mean, that could be the same number of missed questions and just a different curve.) Does Wellesley itself superscore?

Yes Wellesley does super score thankfully so my total score is 2170. But their mean score for the class of 2015 was 692 while my highest score in CR is 670…

Which just means that just the same number of people scored below that number than scored above.
