Creating MyMIT Account as Junior

Hey all,

I’m a current junior in high school who is looking to apply to MIT fall of senior year (along with some other schools).

I know that some applications (namely the Coalition App) allow juniors to sign up and start working on their app even if they aren’t planning on applying to colleges until their senior year.

I’m wondering if anyone has experience with the MyMIT application, and can tell me if it also allows juniors to start working on it early.

Many thanks,

IIRC you won’t be able to start your MIT Application until your Senior year, as the account requires you to enter your graduation year/class year.

yes, you need to be a senior

We have disabled MyMIT; it no longer exists. So yes, you need to wait to whenever you are applying to college to create an account in our new system.
