Creative College Financing Ideas

Does anyone have any unique ideas for getting money to help pay for school besides traditional financial aid and scholarships? There was a Wall Street Journal article not too long ago that talked about how students are turning to peer-to-peer lending sites like Prosper.com, LendingClub.com, and Fynanz.com. I was wondering if anyone has had any luck with those sites. The article also mentioned CollegeDegreeFund.com, which looks like a neat idea because college students can put up their profile for free and get donations for college from people who visit the website. I like the fact that it's money you don't have to pay back. Any other creative college financing ideas out there?
