<p>Advertising/Marketing field.</p>
<p>I've been thinking about that lately. I'm an International Relations major, however.
I love creativity and the fusion of business and creativity sounds very appealing. </p>
<p>Anybody out there experienced in advertising who'd like to share what the advertising world is all about? Ad majors? Interns? How demanding is the job? Long hours? </p>
<p>Anything and everything will be greatly appreciated.</p>
<p>Advertising is broad.
What specifically is your interest in advertising? copy writing, layout designing, ad designing, concept developer, sales, print advertising, tv/film advertising, etc?</p>
<p>Each position within advertising requires different skills and not one major provides that because it will be rare for you to be in charge of everything in “advertising.” The only type of advertising job that doesn’t really require training in college for is ad sales, and even then it’s just sales at its more basic.</p>
