Credentials and reassurance.

I'm a junior in high school. I know I want to go for dental. I know I want to go to the University of Florida, hence one of the only universities with a dental program. I want to apply for their 7 year program after my first year as a freshman. All of this sounds sooo good until I look at my credentials.

I took my sat the first time and got a 1500 second time a 1480. HOW DOES THAT HAPPEN? Anyways..
I'm currently in three clubs and am running for Vice President in one. I am running for senior class secretary also. I am in beta club (volunteer club), National Honors Society, and Jefferson club. I am joining FBLA and Science club at my school. I am also planning on running for FBLA Vice President. Oh and I am also duel enrolling in my local college for my senior year. Also have taken 5 AP classes so far. Also in the top 25 percentile of my school.

Do I stand any chance in getting into a good university and or UPenn!?

Thanks.

ur sat is wayyyy too low to be competitive. no chance really

Check out the SAT preparation sub-forum. They have really good threads and helpful tips. That’s what I did. Don’t give up. You can get your scores up. It’s just a matter of putting in the effort and work to make it happen.

@Rurouni‌ yes I’m a junior. And @Hawkace I really don’t know if those are worth it? There is one at a college about an hour away for $450 is that normal?

get the blue book and just do practice tests from that over the summer; read silver turtles guide and practice like that and you shoudl be able to bring that up to 1900-2000
