<p>I am interested in doing crew (I'm a complete beginner) next year at Middlebury. Wondering anyone can share their experience. Also, how is the time commitment and is it possible to join if you have no experience at all?</p>
<p>Also, wondering if height is an issue when it comes to the crew team. I am quite athletic and fit but I am only five feet tall.</p>
<p>You might consider being a coxswain. Imo, the most important position in the boat. And there’s almost a nonexistent chance of a short career due to injury.:)</p>

<p>You better be committed to hours and hours and hours of time, but if you have the commitment, then you certainly can start at Midd. I would agree that a coxswain would really be the only position you could do at that height, though. btw the time commitment includes 5AM practice.</p>
