Criminal Law

I want to go into criminal law and I was just wondering what law school's criminal lawyer's you know of went to and/or what law school's I should look at. Any advice is greatly appriciated.
(Sorry for any grammer or spelling mistakes. I'm posting this in a hurry)

Defense or prosecution?

prosecution

I have a cousin in a DA's office. Came out of Notre Dame Law.

I've heard their Law program is fairly good.

(To add to the OP's request, if anyone has any thoughts/advice/etc. specifically relevant to defense, that would also be welcome here.)

It really doesn't make a difference. Some offices are going to be more competitive, like the Manhattan DA or a US Attorney's office (at least, those used to be, before they started hiring dozens of Regent grads). But it's not as though particular schools are "better" for getting these jobs. As usual, the best idea is probably to go to the highest-ranked school you can get into, or the best school in the region where you want to practice.

Then what are the best Law School's to attend if I plan to practice law in either NYC, D.C., or Miami?

Any list of schools is premature in the absence of a GPA and an LSAT score. There are probably more than 300 law schools in the country -- there's no way to even know where to start at this point.
