Criteria for admission to honors program?

<p>On average, what are the stats required for an incoming freshmen to the honors program? Am I on the right track? And do incoming freshmen have to submit a separate application for the honors program or are they automatically considered? </p>

<p>My stats:
SAT: 2020 superscored - 690w/670m/660cr
ACT: Haven't taken yet
GPA: around 3.5 UW 3.8W</p>

<p>EC's are decent at best (~300 hours of volunteering at hospital, food drives, nursing home, etc.) and recommendations/essay should be okay</p>

<p>Also would these stats be good enough to get some money? I'm looking to apply early action to the college of engineering and I plan on visiting the school over my spring break to show interest. </p>

<p>I'm worried that my GPA is too low for the honors program. I also hope to get my superscored SAT up to at least 2050-2080 when I retake in June.</p>

<p>I don’t know if that info is published but you might try calling the admissions office to see what they can tell you. </p>
