Hey, guys!! Umm. I'm a rising junior, and I'm planning to study for the PSAT throughout the whole summer. My math and writing scores are pretty solid (700-800 range), but my reading score is TERRIBLE (550-600). I bought myself both Direct Hits Vocab books, and also I'm currently looking up and trying to memorize vocab from the BB practice tests. I am pretty confident that I'll be able to raise my sentence completion score to somewhere close to a perfect 19. But my real problem is the reading comprehension portion in which I usually score a 30-35 out of 48 questions. I mean, really, how should I study for the reading comprehension portion. People I know repeatedly say that I should go over the BB tests, but exactly, HOW should I go over the tests? I seriously want to raise my reading comprehension score to around a 40. Also, does anyone have any suggestions other than studying the BB that can help increase my reading comprehension score? Should I read the NYT? If so, how should I read it? Specific details would be highly appreciated. I am doomed if I do not get to raise my CR score by the time of my next and last PSAT. I mean, my total score never increases to the 2100+ range because I keep on messing up on the reading. T_T. Please help!

I hear the New Yorker and the Economist are good reads for the CR section.
