Is there a fairly high rate of admittance between Amherst-Pomona and Brown-Pomona? And for other top LACs and universities.
Also, do any of those three schools overlap in terms of how they select applicants for their class? As in, specific qualities, personality traits, GPA vs standardized testing importance, etc.
I think a lot of kids APPLY to both Amherst and Brown (open curriculum, New England, prestigious), or Amherst and Pomona (prestigious LACs in consortia), but I am not sure admits are similar.
Your second question can be answered with each college’s CDS, those list things like test scores, rank etc that they consider important, most important, consider and do not consider.
Congratulations on getting a likely from Amherst! While there aren’t official statistics, the student bodies at all three schools have much in common, so it’s likely a good sign that you have what it takes to get in. That said, college admissions can be very unpredictable when the three colleges are a reach for everyone.
