Does anyone know if one is enrolled at the College if one can take classes at SFS? Or visa versa? Thanks so much.

To clarify, I’m asking if its possible to take a class at another school, and if it is possible do you know if those would be like any other class or if it would be an elective and thus not many could be taken?

Anyone know?

Sorry to be a pest, but this is really important for my decision on where to apply, and I’d love to know.

I’m in the college. A lot of “SFS” classes are not exclusive to the SFS (e.g. International relations and comparative politics are in the government dept, international trade in the Econ dept, etc) There are only a couple of core classes that we in the college can’t take like the SFS pro seminars. I would speculate the only reason these classes aren’t allowed is because a lot of them necessitate smaller class sizes so they probably want to keep from too many people flooding them. Also, anything that isn’t a major requirement/college core requirement will count as an elective. You can take a bunch of electives as long as your major requirements are fulfilled. Also, they recently introduced a minor for people in the College in “Science, technology, and international affairs” (which is an exclusively SFS major). Feel free to inbox me if you have any more questions.
