<p>I think they only let undergrads take it for 5, you don't really have a choice.</p>
<p>the 3 unit option is only for grad students who want to save money when they take the class.</p>
<p>i took ap compsci ab in high school and i took cs 106a last quarter, and it was a very easy class. if you never have done programming, though, it'll be a little time consuming since it takes a little while to get used to programming.</p>
