CS Job Market in Dallas/Ft. Worth

<p>I didn't know where else to post this, but I'm wondering how appealing is the market for an undergraduate Computer Science degree. I'm obviously aware of the opportunities in high tech areas such as Silicon Valley and on the east coast, but not about North Texas (where I reside).</p>

<p>I plan on graduating from Southern Methodist University with a B.S. in Computer Science, B.S. in Mathematics, and a minor in Business Administration.</p>

<p>How's the Dallas market (including estimated salary) for such a person?</p>

<p>I live in Richardson. I don't know how the market is, but I'd imagine out of all the companies we have (EDS, TI, etc) that you could certainly find a job.</p>

<p>^It's a coincidence we're talking about this because Nortel Networks just filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy today.</p>
