CS or EE?

Thanks for all the help everyone!

I'm not majoring in Applied Mathematics. I'm majoring in Mathematics, I think the engineering major (CS or EE) would fulfill the application part of my education.

So it seems like CS is the better option for finance. But EE is fine too, but CS is better. That's the general idea I've gotten.

Anyone know of financial jobs I can get with a CS/Math double major?

Trading, Risk management, Quantitative programming.

First of all i would like to say all these rich ppl ,they became rich coz of their brains....they might have an engineering degree , sociology degree or whatever.... but it was their extra work which made them rich

for instance
an engineer can become richer than ever b4 by saving and buying some stores or buying shares..... the possibilities are unlimited.!!

Yeah Bernie Madoff was smarter than all of the people, banks, countries, universities and other rich people at scamming.

And you know this because you've done it?

The wealthy class in this country has collectively lost 30% of their wealth.

Does that make them smart or dumb?

A lot of people think that they know about the wealthy and how they got that way. If you're not self-made wealthy you probably don't know what you're talking about.

Yea some people are wealthy because they are smart (Bill Gates & Steve Jobs). But many people are wealthy because they were born into it. Many people are wealthy because they are lucky. People can become wealthy because of a talent. Others simply through networking.

Most are probably a combination of all of these.

Inheritance, luck, and crime are the preferred methods of becoming rich.

Just remember, risk means reward!
