I would take this ranking with a small grain of salt. The data comes specifically from people who decide to create a profile on Wall Street Oasis and then decide to submit a company report. Although it might certainly indicate having some alums in investment banking, it wouldn’t be statistically representative of the industry as a whole.
My guess is that is why semi-targets like BC and UVA appear so high on the list over/near well-established targets like University of Cambridge, Duke, and Michigan. It wouldn’t be surprising that students/alums from semi-targets who are looking for advice on getting i-Banking jobs are more likely to be active on the website/message board than schools that are direct feeders.
