CSU Superscore

Do all CSU’s superscore the ACT?

Yes, the CSU’s will superscore the ACT.

Here is how most CSU’s will superscore the SAT and ACT.

For Cal Poly SLO, they will superscore between tests so taking the highest sections from the SAT and ACT.

So if I send my 26 and 27 ACT scores to CSU’s, they will take the highest score from reading and math only?

Cal Poly SLO uses only the English, Reading, and Math sections for ACT and Evidence Based Reading and Writing (EBRW) and Math for the SAT.

CSULB uses the Math and Critical Reading scores for the Superscore.

SDSU considers the ACT composite score, which does not include the writing section. SDSU combines the best subscores from multiple ACT tests to calculate a best composite.

So as you can see each CSU may Superscore the ACT differently.

I would check each CSU school target to see how they Superscore your ACT so you have an idea of your Eligibility index or MCA point score (if applying to SLO).
