<p>I'm currently attending Sac State in my second year as a physics major. My GPA is a 3.93. I'm very aware of the added difficulty of transfer from the CSU to the UC system. So to get to the point, what are my chances, Doc! I applied to every UC (got a few free applications). Words of encouragement, or words of hard truth, are very much appreciated. I know this is a very obscure sphere of knowledge since it is a rare occurrence, but I thought I'd ask because not even my counselors are too sure on this subject. </p>
<p>On another small note, without AP credit considered, I will only have 57 units. The UC's take AP into consideration for the total of 60, yes? This has been worrying me to no end, a little clarity would put me at rest. </p>
<p>For the small note: googling “AP Credit Transfer from High School to CC to UCLA” will bring up a helpful college confidential thread that says it’ll be fine.</p>
<p>->From my experience of people going to schools such as Berkeley or UCLA, it is much easier to get into a UC (from CC) with the transfer GPA than it is simply going from high school, if the major is not engineering.</p>

<p>Your GPA is certainly high enough to make you a good candidate. Since you applied to all of them, I’d be surprised if one or more didn’t take you. As you know, the classes don’t really map well so, it is tough for anyone who doesn’t work in the Admissions office to know.</p>
<p>Please stay at Sac State for your undergraduate! They do need to keep good students. Why not wait until grad school and go to a UC then? My daughter is a junior at Sac State and is planning on applying to UC Davis for grad school. </p>
