Thank you. I really want to see that as a good sign.
I think it’s definitely a good sign @Stressed84 If not for nothing, it is a sign they are moving through applications and looking at them (I was convinced it’s just a lotto system at this point, based on old threads…).
I didn’t get any requests or anything, but I did get a reply Friday from Admissions that they amended my Residency Status. I’ve been a SoCal resident for about 3 years, but because my CC is out of state, they classed me as a non-resident… ouch.
Fingers crossed!!! Any day now… anyone want to take one for the team and call (and probably annoy) admissions to see when they’ll start sending acceptances?
I called CSUF this morning and asked them how long it would take to hear back decisions and they said early November we would hear back if we got accepted or not. That doesn’t seem right to me but that’s what I was told
UGHHHHH! I think last year they did send decisions out as late as November from what I found in the thread from last year… but they started around now last year… so maybe it’s just what they have to say as a general blanket statement.
What annoys me is not knowing until that late will mean I will have to apply for Fall 2020 in case I don’t get in for Spring, essentially paying double, no matter the outcome… I know we’re all in the same boat with this. Super frustrating.
Oh and thank you for calling!!!
Good morning everyone, just received an email from Fullerton this morning stating that they have verified my ADT.
Hopefully they soon send out some admission decisions!
@kaylabetts ughh. Gonna have to most likely choose UCR then if I can’t hear back in time for CSUF
No one has heard anything? Decisions started rolling in around 9/20 last year!
It looks like it’s been quiet across the CSUs.
I called admissions yesterday and they told me that we should hear back by November 15. It seems like a lot to me.
Ugh I can’t believe they’re dragging decisions out till after the deadline for Fall 2020 apps. What the heck! That honestly is more frustrating than anything.
I think November 15th is the final deadline they HAVE to give you a decision by. I went through and checked the last few years and it looks like end of September is when decisions began across the board (even on weekends.) So, hopefully some of us will hear this weekend! Not obsessive or anything…
@sphinx7 yeah I wish they would let us know already just in case we should apply for fall 2020
@k8champs I agree! And no problem I hope they start emailing beginning October.
It’s September 30th. Let’s channel all of our energies and hope SOMEONE will hear SOMETHING this week… gahhhh

I hope this weeks’ THE week!
the anticipation of waiting to hear from CSUF is KILLING me!!! I really hope this is the week!!!
Random question but does anyone know what this means? I just noticed these comments when I click on “view full application status details”
Math/QR
GE Math with Supp
Instruct/ESP
Written Comm
Exemption from GE English
I have this issue that although I wasn’t born in the US, I am most definitely not an ESL student but without fail I always get categorized as one, lol. I tried googling the terms (like Instruct/ESP) and it seems like some sort of early start program, I’m assuming for recent HS graduates or something? Which is confusing cause I graduated HS a veeeery long time… ago… I’m super confused.
@k8champs I don’t think you should give it too much thought. Mine has been changing over the last few days. It went from not exempt from GE to GE Exception and then to something else. I think as long as you finished your GE at your cc you should be fine. I think it might just be a type of system error
My friend that got admitted for the Fall 2019 term at CSULB told me they would probably be accepting early November as well because her registration date to sign up for classes is late October, and obviously they get priority.
thats what they always do!!! or from what I hear, my friend told me she was waiting for soooo long about the decision from Fullerton she was forced to chose between giving up admissions at another college, only for Fullerton to reject them. Same with me, last semester I was waitlisted for nearly three months, it was insane!!! They let me know I was not accepted off the waitlist when Fall term had already started :)))) Very frustrating to say the least.
