CSULB FALL 2020 TRANSFERS

DavisD All students who attended “local” high schools have an advantage. I went to community college directly after HS and will have transferred under two years.

Check out this link, you’ll see admission preference also applies to transfer students.

If this were not true, It would make no sense for me, a psych major with a 3.06 on my application to supercede another psych major with a 3.75 gpa. If it were not for my high schools agreement otherwise known as the long beach college promise, I would have not gotten in.

HondaDude It really does suck you were waitlisted, but hopefully that can change. You definitely have a chance with you Gpa and time because acceptance for offers of admission aren’t due until May 1st. Some space is gonna free up. Im not sure how the waitlisting process works, but I would recommend asking where you fall in the pool of applicants.

Major: Business Finance
GPA: 3.95
Golden four : All done
Major Prep: Done by end of the semester

Good luck to the rest of you all

I appreciate your input Olie321, yeah I’ll try checking in with LB. Congrats to you for getting in!

I got denied. They said even though I meet all the requirements for transfer, my GPA isn’t high enough for psychology. I sent an appeal because it didn’t hurt to try, so I’m waiting to hear back about my appeal. I got an email a week ago notifying me that they received my appeal, and will email me once they‘ve made their decision.
