CSULB Spring 2019 Transfer Thread

Did anyone else get told that the aa/as transfer verification will be verified on your official transcripts??

I did.

I was told the same thing about as/as transfer verification on transcripts. I too will be attending the 11-03 GPE.

Woke up today and saw that my “official transcripts” disappeared from to do list, but the verification of ADT is still there. Maybe it wasn’t on my official transcript?

Will call on Monday to check.

the adt can only be verfied two ways through e-verify or through paper filled out by your college

Does anyone no when is the deadline for csulb to fully admit you ? & change the offer from conditional to clear?

@Nesshaaaa idk but I think if you got the official admittance email and after they review your transcripts they’ll send a conformation one

I stopped by today to talk to transfer advisor and mentioned my Associates Degree Ford transfer that it’s still on my to do list.

She was able to check my transcripts and make that go away from my portal. I now have no to-do’s left.

She said that as soon as they finished going over verifying supplemental apps, then people will start getting official acceptance as well as next steps for the soar.

So, they are currently in process of reviewing applications and will send out reports when they match the classes that you took in community college to CSULB classes and compare the units. So, might be nothing to for another month or so.

Hello everyone im new here!
I applied to CSULB for Spring 2019 semester and I received an email on OCT 3 saying they were offering me conditional admission  . However, of course, there were some items left on my do list… ATD verification has been sent by my school and its already cleared from my to do list, but my college transcript is still pending.
I went to Admission department at Cerritos College and they told me they were not sending because they had not received any notification from CSULB. This guy told me to buy an official transcript online and have it send it to CSULB, and thats what I did. I actually bought 2 official copies, one for CSULB and one for myself. I received my copy by mail last Monday which makes me think CSULB also received it . However, its still pending on my to do list, im so confused . I dont know how long i should wait until its cleared. Due date is Oct 28 so i need to act fast.
I was reading at last RichardBIV’s post and maybe i should personally go ? Do I need to make an appointment ? If yes, where should i go ?
Thank you!
@RichardBIV

@Vanebale hey, I’m a fall 2018 transfer student and they had the same issue in the fall. I would go in if I were you. My community college said that CSULB received my transcripts but CSULB was taking about 3-4 weeks to process them. I decided to bring my transcripts in and they cleared everything off my to-do list within 3-4 days (should be faster for you though since less people applied for spring). Go to admissions at Brotman Hall on the first floor. You can park in the short term spots right out front of the building. I think it costs like $7. Try to go during class times (before noon or after like 1-2 would be the best) because the wait times can sometimes be 45 minutes to an hour. Just make sure your transcript is in a sealed envelope from the school, otherwise they won’t take it.

Thank you very much @rb8991 , Im going tomorrow for sure!

so i just got in!!!

They fully admitted you or is it conditional ??

Hey can you guys let me know when you receive the confirmation email that you’re fully admitted

Hi - I am attending the GPE workshop training tomorrow from 1-4 (Hall of Science - 102). For those that have been to the campus. Any idea what side of school- the Hall of Science is located? My first time visiting the campus. I am nervous, but excited.

was planning on leaving at 10am to make it by 1pm. Is that leaving too early?

@graceful311 I’m a current CSULB student. It’s practically in the middle of the campus. Park in E10 or E11 (it’s employee parking, but you’re permitted to park there on weekends) and get a parking pass for the day. There’s machines at every parking lot to get one. E10 is the closest lot to HSCI, it takes like 2 minutes to walk over there from that lot. If it’s full, park in E11. Most people don’t know you can park in employee lots during the weekend, so there shouldn’t be any problem parking. If you google CSULB map, you can have it on your phone and follow it while you’re walking to the science building (that’s how most people get around school the first week). I’m not sure where you live, but you want to be in the building at least 20-30 minutes early because they’ll start letting you into the classroom.

Thank you!!! For being so helpful.

Hey guys my account has a hold on it that says prevent all enrollment actions , does anyone else account say this ???

@Nesshaaaa it’ll go away once you attend SOAR
