While anything could happen at this point you may want to start being excited about your second choice. My daughter made that decision last weekend and I think it was the best thing. While she still loves Long Beach, she is becoming very excited by the choice she made. Even if she was accepted to Long Beach the idea of being tortured by the waitlist for dorms seems ridiculous.
My daughter just got accepted off the dorm waitlist-She was number 78-I hope everyone also received notice? She has a meeting with he counselor at the end of July for classes!
That is fabulous-congratulations!! My daughter is still waitlisted for admission but she has “move on” at this point.
My daughter got the Beachside dorm-the one with the pool-woo hoo-Good things come to those that wait!
i agree with @srbacon - sure, there’s a chance but, you really need to focus on another path. Its been a while but my older son was in a similar position with LB so, I understand how you feel.
I hate the way they string along so many kids so far into the summer.
Clearly they don’t value you (and all the others still waiting) as anything but a number. I really encourage you to commit your dollars and passion elsewhere.
Hoping you committed elsewhere already.
Good luck
Hello, that’s so cool!
Congrats
Did you attend a high school in Long Beach?
