I just would like to know if getting an Associate in General studies doing purely online course would look bad on a college application or would, in any way, lessen my chances of getting accepted. I am currently 1 year away from getting out and would like to attend UCLA when I do finally get out. I plan on keeping AT LEAST a 3.5 GPA through CTC but didn't do so hot in high school, I dropped out at 17, got my GED, and then enlisted in the military. When I get my degree how would my chances be at getting into UCLA?

What is CTC?

You need to call UCLA and see if they accept online transfer credit. I imagine they do, but not every school does. When I ETS I’ll have about 30 credits from CTC, and at some schools I’ll be applying as a freshman (!) because they don’t grant credit for work completed online.
