Maconda. Do you know how that works. My son applied to Leeds and was accepted to the school of economics. The acceptance doesn’t mention anything about Leeds. So two questions. 1) Can you re-apply for Leeds in Regular decision 2)How difficult would it be to transfer into Leeds once there?
Ok so I was accepted tonight into Arts and Sciences I’m so excited just to be accepted to Boulder but I’m trying to understand the process as well because my first choice was engineering but then under Arts and Sciences that’s where pre-engineering Falls which I’m good with I just have a question does that mean if you follow that pre-engineering and pull the grades I know you’re automatically into engineering but you do have to get the grades so I’m not sure if the business school works the same way or not
If you are Pre Engineering or Pre Business you can still take the same classes as the students who are in business and engineering. I think at the end of freshmen year if your grades are good enough you automatically get accepted. I had a friend who did this with Pre Engineering. I can’t remember how good your grades had to be, but you can probably do a google search and find out. My sister is in engineering and she said she never knew who was in engineering and who was in pre-engineering and it really wasn’t a big deal.
My son was also accepted to the College of Arts and Sciences for Economics. I love the fact that he would be working that UEAC first year advising unit to help him decide what academic path he wants to take. Right now, he isn’t sure.
He attends a private, Catholic High School. 3.45 UW GPA, 1220 SAT, decent extra-curriculars but a compelling background story that he shared in his essays. I hope this gives hope to those of you who don’t have perfect GPA’s and test scores.
@CollegeboundMA See “application process” below. https://www.colorado.edu/business/undergraduate/admissions/non-business%20major/pre-business-program
I don’t think uou can reapply RD once you have been evaluated for EA
