I am currently a junior in boulder, co. my gpa freshmen and sophomore year was around 3.33 and i took a lot og advanced and AP classes, this year as a junior my overall gpa has dropped to 3.17 and my gpa last semester was a 2.4, im planning on graduating early (in december) and redoing some classes over the summer to help my gpa from this year. I am taking one ap class next year which i think will help my gpa. i havent received my SAT scored but i am scared to not get into CU because of my grades junior year.
Is your GPA weighted or unweighted?
@cuboulder101 The GPA requirements for admission to CU Arts and Sciences majors are lower than Business or Engineering. You may want to try to explain the grades dropping.
An interesting loophole right now-
A Computer science BA degree is offered both in Arts and Sciences and, a degree with about 4 extra classes, a BS degree, is offered in College of Engineering, so you can essentially get a CS degree without getting into the CU College of Engineering at this time. You can just take the extra math if you want in Arts and Sciences.
