Is anyone sure of if any of the CUNY schools send out decisions this week?
I just got the acceptance e-mail from CUNY Hunter transfer admission for Fall 2017
@CunyOD I am an international student, so I called to the International students admission office number and talk with associate director of that department

@CunyOD I did the same thing, called Brooklyn college and they said the same exact thing. I even called City which was #3 on my list and they said I got accepted already by another one of my choices.
Hey there guys, So I have not gotten any kind of email from hunter or baruch yet. Whenever i email them they just say that i will be getting a decision soon. April is about to end and most of us just have 2 weeks till may 1 to make our decisions. Does anybody actually know how to get into contact with one of these cuny representatives because the CUNY system is way too slow. Almost every college has sent out their decision except cuny.
And I just got an email from Hunter 4 months after I applied that my application is incomplete because i havent submitted the TAP. seriously??? And btw did any of you guys even apply for this TAP grant thing?
@cashwizard11 Oh ok so that means we will probably get it at different times and they are telling us two different things.
@jaycom18 Yea I don’t know why it’s taking them so long with this process.even the person I spoke to on the phone didn’t think it is that he can’t tell us the decision if they have such a long process.
From my understanding what I’ve been told is it’s a long process because the Cuny system accepts or rejects you based on whether or not you fit the requirements for that specific school or program then whatever decision that is made has to be finalized and reviewed by the actual school itself so when portal updates theirs and says 2 weeks that not really it being complete, its after the school actually makes their final decision do you really know.
@hamstargaming not everyone has received a decision from these two schools as yet. When I spoke to someone yesterday he told me by next week. You can get the contact information on the schools website depending on if you are a freshman,transfer or international student. You can also call the welcome desk and they might transfer you to the department that can best help you. But most likely they will not tell you over the phone.

Approximately when will i receive an email?
I just called the CUNY welcome center and they said it could take another week and a half for the other applications. She said it’ll take longer than shorter meaning we’ll hear back around the last few days of April
I emailed the CUNY help desk again asking when I should hear from the rest of my colleges (hunter baruch John jay, got accepted by CCNY on friday) and they said in the next few business days… don’t know if I believe them at this point though ¯_(ツ)_/¯
I emailed both Hunter and Baruch directly this morning, and got my Hunter decision about an hour ago! If you really want to know if you got into Hunter I recommend emailing them. Still haven’t heard from Baruch though.
@saida996 what did you say in the email to Hunter? And are you a transfer or a freshman? Congrats by the way!

@hamstargaming he already said that he emailed to school directly. So he should be send email to admission@hunter.edu something like this
@hamstargaming @ACarter99 I emailed admissions@hunter.cuny.edu. In the email I just stated my name and that I applied as a freshman undergrad student for the fall 2017 semester, and asked what my application status was and if I’d hear back soon. I emailed them at about 12 pm and heard back at 5!
And by the way I actually got rejected from Hunter :(( Probably should’ve just waited it out lol.
