@CunyOD Yeah Hunter was my first choice, Baruch responded saying, “Your application is complete. It was completed late so your consideration has been delayed. You should be receiving a determination before May 1st.”
@saida996 Wow, it’s ok just work hard at whatever college you choose to attend then transfer to hunter after a couple of semesters.
@CunyOD Yeah, that’s probably what I’m going to end up doing. I’m wondering since I got denied from Hunter as my first choice if there’s a chance I can get into Baruch which is my second choice

I am international and I did heard back from almost every college I applied to.
Baruch, Hunter, Lehman, City College all accepted. It is weird that there are too many people still waiting for decisions.
BTW I dont plan attending any Cuny colleges. should I email and tell them so they can accept another person instead of me??

if you denied from Hunter as your first choice, it is difficult to get accepted to Baruch tho.
Baruch is most difficult to get in among Cuny
second is Hunter
so, It will be difficult to get in tho.

@ede0308 You’re right I think my sat score is too low for Baruch mine is under 1200. And @CunyOD I was planning on majoring in economics or journalism but really have no idea
@saida996 If you apply to the weissman school at Baruch instead of Zicklin you might have a higher chance of getting in they only require a 2.7 gpa and aren’t so strict like Zicklin.
Its sad that i see many students in our country are being denied entrance to these public schools maybe due to ny having free tuition next year the schools will get more money from international students? My D still waiting for Baruch Queens Brooklyn a private school accepted her already still waiting for a denial or acceptance from shameful cunys
Called CUNY and they said I should’ve heard back by now so they requested a re-send and I should hear by Friday.
@Chutup17 W.T. F due to us citizen’ free education if I have to pay more than 20K a year, then I gonna go to Colombia univ or NYU. I have enough GPA and qualification to go those school but I chosen CUNY because of my parent’s financial situation. If CUNY takes more money from int’ students, then that is not fair for us. There are many US students who don’t study hard enough and next year they get free educations??? It is shame

@cashwizard11 yes my D still hasnt heard from them she knows we are not in a great financial situation either so shes hoping something happens shes just below on sat score :-/
So baruch said to her to focus on the other colleges shes applied and use them as back up if accepted it still has her as in review. Ive seen many international students getting accepted as many of our kids waiting still
