is anyone planning to dorm if you go to baruch or hunter?
Its sad that these schools making all students wait if they know just let them know either yes or a no. My D got a response " i suggest you consider looking into the schools accepted into and keep us a back up if admited?
Why couldnt they just say NO.
Nevertheless my D will be attending another university and is super happy to have committed to already. Students young or old have lives and goals these is how many students give up cus others dont do their work asap.

because i have emailed them so many times now that i just dont wanna email them now idk whats wrong with them. idk if I’m gonna get into baruch or hunter or not. Man so messed up. Almost every college in the freaking united states has sent out their acceptance letters and this is the only public college thats been holding on to those decisions for this long. COME ON MANN!! SOMEONE GOTTA FILE A LAWSUIT AGAINST THIS MESSED UP SYSTEM. lol
I feel for anyone who is STILL awaiting, ridiculous that they want you to wait on them when it’s almost May.
For whoever is still waiting I suggest taking a trip to whatever school you’re waiting on, if you can’t then call. It’s you’re right to be annoying at this point so don’t feel bad if you emailed/called a lot of times !
I agree with everyone Cuny is getting annoying and it really sucks. Everytime I call I’m told something different and it’s becoming stressful now. Last week I talked to a counselor that told me I was accepted but wouldn’t be receiving a decision email right away well today I call Cuny to see when I will receive one because I need the email in order to make my commitment by May 1st and a lady tells me she doesn’t even think that my process will finish until end of May. How can I make a commitment by May 1st if my process doesn’t finish until end of May that makes no sense. So I have to call Baruch tomorrow again to find out what’s going on
good luck @CunyOD Btw can you please tell them that other people are waiting too for baruch to respond and please tell me what they said on the phone because they just say different things every time you call them lol
they told me a month ago that i would get it by the end of that week. 1 month gone and still waiting 
isn’t there anyone on here who actually attends cuny??? can’t you please talk to a counselor on behalf of the students on here? btw they respond very fast on Facebook cause i texted both hunter and baruch and they saw my message but hunter didn’t reply whereas baruch said the same old stuff lol
I have a dilemma. Right now it’s between Queens and St John’s (used to be Hunter, but I’m not interested in an hour commute). I’d be paying 5k for St. John’s if I get their work study and the 3,500 subsidized loans. However, I’d be paying 3,400 for Queens.
I’m really conflicted because I adore both schools. I’m going the Pre-vet route, and my parents are able to afford 5k annually.
Any quick thoughts, given that the deadline is in a few days?

Yep. I am applicable for Excelsior. However, they are also initiating some support for private institutions(up to 6k iirc).
Update: I received my my acceptance email a couple of minutes ago. I didn’t have to call. Finally this process is over !!

called cuny and they said “all admissions counselors are busy at this time, call again later” this is actually ridiculous
