@ala123sobhan I did not find out what it means, but I did hear back from all the colleges I applied to about a month ago.
Got accepted in Hunter
Hello, I applied to Baruch (and got acepted!). I’m planning on attending there but the problem is it says I got NO financial aid despite my EFC being 370$ or so and other CUNYS giving me the same financial package that covers most of the tuition. I went on my CUNYfirst account and it says Financial Aid Hold, and when I click on Baruch, it says “You are currently in a plan/major that is not eligible for financial aid”. What does this mean??? My intended major would be International Business and idk why it says that I really want to go to Baruch for undergrad, does someone know if this is an error or something?
@ala123sobhan omg you are so lucky. When did they email you and is the deadline still may 1st
On 29th . Thank you. I got accepted in Queens too.I dont know about the deadline since I got the Queens acceptance today. It depends on the colleges I guess
After taking the CUNY assessment test, I have milestones on my CUNYfirst account that indicate Math and Read proficient as completed, does that mean that I passed or does it mean that I simply took the test?
you know how colleges introduce you to other freshmen attending the school. does lehman do that
I got accepted into The Forensic Science program at John Jay, didn’t find out until May 16th and that wasn’t until I literally hounded them for weeks with calls and emails- I was just lucky enough to finally get someone to answer back! My CUNYfirst account says my math placement test is completed and pending, even though I’m already in- the CUNY communication is less than stellar to say the least, or maybe I just was spoiled by the school I’m transferring from, but I’d say if you haven’t received an answer , bug them them daily until you do, get the name of an actual person you can contact, or you won’t hear anything back!!
I didn’t find out anything until I constantly barraged them with messages( I got into John Jay on 5/16) start contacting them if you haven’t heard, it’s the only way to get results
