I logged on and it says “my admissions status” and then a picture with people raising arms lol… Doesn’t say congrats or anything… I guess a decision has not been made for me yet.

Yea they probably haven’t updated your portal yet. If you’re up to it, you could call hunter to see if they could tell you more about your admission status.

I called hunter and they told me to call CUNY processing center… CUNY never picks up… Maybe I should wait until they update?

Oh since they told you to call the processing center, keep doing so while simultaneously waiting to see if your portal changes.

Lol ivyvision, I agree, but other people were getting their decisions and knowing how disorganized the CUNY system is, I was concerned that I hadn’t been notified yet because they had rejected me for the regular pool, due to an error, or maybe they just hated me haha. Excuse my long posts, it’s hard playing the waiting game. At least it’s almost over!

I’ve gotten my acceptances from all of them. Brooklyn and Lehman sent theirs by e-mail. (Baruch sent me the e-mail first and then the letter 2 weeks later)

My son applied to CUNY Hunter, Baruch, Queens College and Brooklyn. He has not heard from any of them as of yet. Does anyone know their process for sending out acceptance letters/emails? He has been accepted to all other schools to which he applied but we can’t make any decisions until we hear from the CUNY’s as Hunter is his 1st choice.

Hi…I applied to the Macaulay Honors Program, with my order of preference being Hunter, CCNY and then Queens. I got admitted to CCNY and Queens.

I was looking at this thread, when I saw ivyvision’s post about him getting notified of his Hunter decision through MyChoice. The thing is, I am not a member of MyChoice. So even if I register for it now, how will it link me to my application that I have already sent?

Any help will be appreciated…Thanks!!

I’m actually freaking out I applied to Hunter, Lehman and BMCC back in Nov. 28 and sent in the transcript last week of January. They have to unjam what they’re processing already -_-

AlphaSW6-it does it by your email. I wasn’t registered for MyChoice either until ivyvision posted that the decisions were there- then I made an account and saw my admission decision.

Jazmine, so if I make an account with MyChoice, how will MyChoice recognize me as the person who sent in the CUNY application. Because, from what I can gather, anybody can become a member of MyChoice.

Thanks!

Thanks for the help…I registered for MyChoice and found out that I’ve been accepted to Hunter as a general freshman, and my application to Macaulay is under review.

Thanks a lot Jazmine, and ivyvision!!

Make sure to check your application status.

Hi, guys I have a major question for you guys!

So about the assessment tests, are they absolutely needed? Is there a way around them at all? I live all the way in upstate NY and my mom won’t take me to NYC to take an assessment test. Is there a way around them? I have to take the math portion of the assessment only, I’ve always gotten really high grades in English so I am exempt from that portion.

Is there an online option, can I just take additional classes next year? I’m so desperate for this.

Do you plan on going to CUNY? If yes then you might want to call in and ask if you can do the online option.
