CUNY Requirements.

I'm new at this.

I am a senior in HS, took SAT one, got 590 in math, and 410 in english.

So, how do I find out, if these scores are good enough for particular colleges, especially I'm intersted in CUNY branch.

PS. I am going to take SAT the second time this January, and hope to improve my english score up to around 500-550. Average is around 80 %. What are my chances?

Thank you in advance.

Your scores and your average are a little low for baruch even is you were applying under seek or college discovery programs.

sybbie719, thanks for reply.

I just checked CUNY score range, it says 520 for math and 480 for critical reading.
Does that mean that i need around 70 points more in critical reading to apply?
