I’m currently a junior still in Highschool looking @ various colleges. I live outside St. Louis, Missouri, but plan on moving to NY to pursue a major in communications. I originally looked @ NYU, but it was too expensive, and housing options seem to be quite limited. Currently, I’m prospectively looking @ City College, Hunter College, and Brooklyn College. All three of these schools say they have some form of housing, but I have to ask; How expensive is it really, and is it privately owned residence halls, or are they legitimate dormitories owned by the University(s)?
CUNY does not have their own dorms. They use educational housing services for their dorms. Each residence has a set number of floors for the different schools. It’s pretty expensive. Check out their website: https://www.studenthousing.org
