is there a curfew at columbia for students?

I would be surprised if any college in the country that is not either West Point/Annapolis/Air Force Academy/USUHS/other service academy or a fundamentalist religious institution has a curfew.

Why do you think that it does?

You’ll be an adult and treated as such.

9:30 on school nights. 10:15 on all other days. Lights out is 45 minutes after curfew.

It seems harsh but you get used to the schedule pretty quickly.

haha no… this is college… was that a joke question?

^ Perhaps not. OP may be from a culture where University students live in more controlled housing. Regardless, tuftstudent answers the question succinctly. No curfews at Columbia

Even if there was curfew, no students would bother and sneak out to enjoy New York city :)

Sure! And there is always a professor (and on weekends a Dean) on call that makes sure all students brush their teeth and take a shower (with soap!).
