Current Chances of getting into UNC-Charlotte

First things first, I was a terrible student in high school. I had no real aspirations and never tried, because I always assumed I would be an electrician or something in a trade. The summer I graduated from high school, 2015, I decided to apply and attend my local community college because I had a change of heart. I have so far have been at my current institution in New Jersey for 3 semesters, currently in my 4th and last semester here. I have applied to UNC-Charlotte sending both my high school and College transcripts to them today to try and attend their Communciations department. I’m not worried about my high school transcripts anymore, because I have more than 24 transferable credit hours, but my GPA is currently sitting at a 2.7. After a poor third semester where I received a D in one of my math classes, which I have notebooks FULL of work because I really studied that hard, but just blanked on test day, and than I received a C in my one Spanish class because I would have tests for both of these classes on the same day. I am confident I will do well in my classes this semester, and it will raise my GPA, but I wanted to know as it stands, what are my chances of getting into UNC-Charlotte for communications. Any feedback is welcome and appreciated.

Thank you,
Brendan

Bump.

Bump, if anyone can give me feedback it would be great, please. I’m getting desperately nervous!

I saw this message today on the portal;

“A decision has been made on your application. Note that decisions may not be provided over the phone. Please allow 7-10 days to receive an official letter from the Admissions office.”

Does this mean I’ve been denied? Or will it be like this for a few days than change over to accepted or denied? Does anyone know?
