Current Tiers?

Tier 1: Harvard, Yale, Princeton
Tier 2: Columbia, Stanford, UPenn, CalTech, MIT, Dartmouth, Duke, Chicago, Northwestern
Tier 3: Hopkins, WashU, Brown, Cornell
Tier 4: Rice, Vanderbilt, Notre Dame, Emory
Tier 5: Georgetown, Berkeley
Tier 6: CMU, USC, UCLA, UVA, Wake, Tufts

Those are you own made up tiers.

Those aren’t the tier system that US News uses. The one that US News uses has them all in Tier 1.

Are you Tier Obsessed?

merge tiers 4 and 3, Northwestern down one, Stanford, MIT, CIT up one

For years I believed there were only 4 tiers. (And I may continue to do so)

I thought it went something like this: Top 25 are tier 1, 25-100 are tier 2 and then it widens out down to 4.

That is the funniest tier list I have seen. Completely pointless.

Bemidji State University is a Tier 1 Regional University (Midwest). And BSU accounting graduates pass the CPA exam at a higher rate than the state average.

This is my new response to all ranking/tiering threads. Go Beavers!
