I'm a current UF student and probably will be transferring as a junior for Fall 2012 to FSU. Does FSU offer the option of either going to class or watching the classes online? This is a big thing for me because I could literally spend the weekend with my family without sacrificing anything at UF.

So does FSU offer the option of watching the lectures online as well without acutally needing to go to class?

Is the transit system good? here in gainesvilles the transit system is amazing.....

This probably just depends on the instructor. FSU certainly has online classes, but the ones that I have taken are basically just online. One class, COP3353, had an optional B&M component, but that’s it.

Apparently you aren’t a very active individual, who wishes to stay inside and watch lectures rather than attend class (and you won’t even be living at the University, but you will be traveling back and forth to Miami?..) So my advice, would be to cut down your mileage and attend UF. The Gator Nation will gladly accept and embrace an individual like yourself with open arms.

Sid, not everyone is a full-time student. Some people work (some full-time). And, not everyone lives near their school. Online classes are good for some people. Maybe you aren’t one of them.

I think the replies here have been unnecessarily unkind. It was just a question and didn’t deserve the responses. this FSU board has always provided excellent information for EVERYONE…and any prospective student should be welcomed.
